In the book Nozhat-al-Qoloob, he has illustrated Iran as an ancient country with distinct borders and has explained about its province. In his Zafarnameh,  which is an epic poem using the Ferdowsi style,  he has  given very much significanc to the concept and identity of Iran. In this remarkable works, Mostowfi has persistently acclaimed and mentioned “Iran” and “Iranians” following the jovayni and Rashid alddin Fazlallah By using Iran as a conceptual centre, he has  tried to assimilate the Mongol rulers into the life style and policy of ancient Iranian Kings. The Zafarname reveals Mostowfi's thought about the continuation of the concept of Iran according to the ancient  royalty during the Islamic epoch and the  construction of an Iranian-Islamic Renaissance.
