Abstract
An important part of the Seljuk historiography belongs to the degenerative changes in the fifth and sixth centuries in Iranian society. So an important part of Seljuk historiography figured in relation with the problem of decay of political centrality of regions such as Sistan and Fars. another Part of Seljuk historiography was formed under influence of decline of Saljukid political system in some regions like Iraq-e- Ajam and Kirman, which had caused some anxious changes in social life. in this research, seljukid historiographical texts are considered that are close to social and political changes of Iraninan society, coinciding appearance and decline of their political system; and their historians had noticed these periods as social retrogressive changes.
