چکیده

به سبب گسست در تاریخ‌نگری ایرانیان که با یورش مقدونیان پیش آمد، آنچه امروز از تاریخ هخامنشی می‌دانیم، بیشتر بر پایه‌ی مدارکی است که در کاوش‌های دو سده‌ی گذشته به دست آمده است.در این میان، منشور کورش بزرگ نخستین نوشته از نخستین پادشاه هخامنشی است که از زمان پیدایی تاکنون کانون بیشترین پژوهش‌ها بوده است.منشور کارنامه‌ی کورش است که پس از واپسین اقدام بزرگ او، یعنی تسخیر بابل نگاشته شد و گذشته از داده‌های ارزنده‌ای که از این بزرگ‌ترین رویداد تاریخ هخامنشی دارد، گزارش معتبری نیز از نیاکان کورش و اقدامات پیشین او به دست می‌دهد

چکیده [English]

 Due to the discontinuity in Iranian Historiography which occurred with Macedonian raids, the things that we know about the Achaemenid history is mainly based on evidence obtained from last two centuries of excavations. In the meantime, Cyrus Cylinder is considered as the first writing of first Achaemenid monarch that since its discovery has always been researched. The Cylinder is a record of Cyrus which has been written after his Babylonian conquest. In addition to the valuable information about this event, it has also reliable data about his former adventures.
